Not dumbed down—distilled. Stripped of what isn't necessary. Organized so that everything left has a reason to be there. That's where I live as a designer, and honestly, as a person.
I'm Stephanie Rachmeler—graphic designer, illustrator, and digital marketing partner based near Marietta, Georgia. I work with small businesses, educators, parents, and political and civic organizations. My clients are usually smart, busy people who care deeply about what they're building and need a creative partner who can see both the big picture and the details.
I came to design the long way—through curiosity, a lot of reading, and a stubborn commitment to understanding why things work, not just how to make them look good. That same brain that devours books and researches recipes and notices when something in a room is slightly off? That's the brain I bring to your project.

What ties it all together: I simplify. I organize. I build things the right way from the start, so you're not spending next year patching what we rushed through this year.
I ask a lot of questions upfront. I want to understand what you're actually trying to accomplish, not just what you think you need. I'll push back gently if something feels off. I'll always explain my decisions.
When I hand something over, it's clean, organized, labeled, and yours to maintain with confidence.

When I'm not designing, I'm probably reading something (design, culture, food, politics — it's eclectic), cooking something that required more research than it had any right to, or helping a friend think through a decision they didn't realize they needed help thinking through.
I bring all of that to my work. The curiosity. The research instinct. The conviction that details matter and first impressions are built in layers.
